CAER Members:
The industries located on March Point near Anacortes Washington have been associated since 1985 in an organization dedicated to coordinating emergency response efforts and communicating those efforts to the public. The group is called CAER- which stands for Community Awareness & Emergency Response, represents the five major industrial facilities on the point and the local emergency planning committee, represented by the Skagit County Department of Emergency Management.
